Yes, Kasmiri is an Australian brand based in Sydney, NSW.
Founded in 2021 by former Aid Consultant Anna Kiousis, Australian cashmere brand Kasmiri was created to bring joy and softness against the skin, comfort, warmth, and quiet sophistication, with Kasmiri's signature, richly layered textures that effortlessly elevate any outfit. The collection is created to be worn and enjoyed throughout life's adventures.
The entire collection is exclusively handcrafted in Nepal, a country close to Anna's heart for its artistry and traditional techniques, which inspire every collection.
"I bought my first cashmere shawl in Nepal many years ago when I worked there as an Aid Consultant. A rich Tibetan Red scarf, which accompanied me throughout all my travels. When my daughter was born, I wrapped her up in my shawl to keep her warm. Every time I wear it, I am reminded of my life and the special moments I've had wearing it. This is the intention of Kasmiri. When you have a Kasmiri piece, you will have it for years, and every time you wear it, you will be reminded of the joyful moments you've had".

Yes, we offer Afterpay as our Buy Now, Pay Later option online.
Afterpay is a Buy Now, Pay Later service that allows you to make purchases now and pay them in four equal instalments every 2 weeks, interest-free.
Once you have selected an item in your cart, go to checkout and select Afterpay as your payment method. First time customers will need to register with Afterpay and provide payment details via the Afterpay App. If you're a returning customer, simply log in. Your first payment will be deducted at the time you place your order.

SHIPPING
Orders are processed in Sydney, Australia within 24 hours (business days) and processed the same day if order is placed by 12 noon. Delivery times are:
- Australia 1-4 working days
- New Zealand 4 to 8 working days
- Rest of the world 3 to 5 working days via DHL.
We offer FREE WORLDWIDE STANDARD SHIPPING for all orders. We use DHL for orders to the rest of the world outside Australia and New Zealand.
For Australia and New Zealand orders, if you require your parcel by express shipping we can arrange this at checkout for a flat rate calculated at checkout. This will incur a cost as below:
- Australia Overnight Express: $12.00
- New Zealand 1 to 3 days: $40.00
- All orders shipped to the United States may be subject to local import duties, tariffs, and taxes as determined by U.S Customs. These fees are not included in the purchase price and remain the sole responsibility of the customer. KASMIRI does not accept liability for any costs incurred due to failure to pay these charges.
All orders dispatched require a physical address. A confirmation email detailing your tracking number and link will be sent upon dispatch of your parcel. This allows you to track your order for the delivery date and time. Please note we are unable to deliver to a P.O Box.
Import Duties
- Australia and NZ pricing includes GST and any other duties.
- Full-priced orders delivered to the USA do not include duties, tariffs, and taxes and are the responsibility of the recipient. We advise you to check with your customs duties representative before placing an order.
- Orders to the rest of the world are delivered at place (DAP). The recipient may be liable for import duties and local sales tax before parcel delivery. We advise you to check with your customs duties representative before placing an order.
We use Australia Post Standard for all domestic orders, including for New Zealand. If our customers in Australia and New Zealand would like their parcel urgently, we use Australia Post Express for a cost of $12.00. We find Australia Post is the best and most reliable for delivery.
We use DHL Worldwide Express for all international orders outside of Australia and New Zealand. We find it's the best and most reliable for delivery. There is not currently a standard option for our international customers.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
We offer free, easy returns on all products ordered from KASMIRI for customers in Australia and New Zealand. Please contact us to begin the process before you send it back to us. A pre-paid postage label is included with your order.
Customers in the USA and the Rest of the World may return the item to us for a refund or exchange at your own expense. Please contact us to begin the process.
The product must be returned to us within 21 days of delivery of your parcel for a refund or exchange. The product must be unworn, unwashed, not damaged, and with all labels on the product. It is optional to return the KASMIRI box.
Items on sale or custom such as monogrammed or special orders are not eligible for a return or refund. Items bought from our stockists do not qualify for a return or exchange from Kasmiri. Please get in touch with our stockist for their return and exchange policies.

Yes, you can get a refund even if you've paid using Afterpay. Simply get in touch with KASMIRI, and we will begin the refund process with Afterpay.
A refund will be deposited into the original form of payment once the product is returned to us unworn, unwashed, and with all labels and cards. The product must be returned to us within 21 days of parcel delivery. An email notification will be sent to you once we have received the product.
Please allow up to 7 working days for the refund to be processed once the product is received. We will notify you when the refund has been made.
We do not refund any customs duties and taxes that may have been part of the original shipment nor do we refund the cost of shipping as part of the original transaction.
Independent stockists that sell Kasmiri have their own return policy which may differ from our return policy. If you did not purchase from Kasmiri online please contact the correct retailer for further information about returning your item
Custom-made products such as monogrammed items are non-refundable.
CASHMERE
Cashmere is the fine undercoat of cashmere and pashmina goats that live in the Himalayas, Mongolia, and Northern China. The freezing temperatures stimulate the growth of the goat's soft undercoat to keep warm in the harsh winter. The fine fibres measure under 16 microns in width, which is 10 times finer than human hair. The fineness makes cashmere wool 8 times warmer than sheep wool.
The cashmere goat only yields 75 to 100 grams of pure cashmere wool per year. The yield from 4 to 6 goats is required to make a cashmere garment. Labour-intensive harvesting, sorting, dehairing, carding, combing, and spinning all contribute to the cost of cashmere.
High-quality Grade A cashmere fibres are the best. Measuring 14 to 15.5 microns in diameter and a minimum length of 36-40mm. The fineness and length ensure superior softness. Grade A cashmere is combed from the underbelly, chin and chest of the goat, where the longest and softest fibre hair is.
Our entire collection is exclusively 100% cashmere for its unmatched softness, lightness, and warmth. We don't blend with other materials such as silk, wool, and synthetics, as they don't have the same superior feel.
We only craft our pieces in 100% cashmere as this guarantees a superior product. Cashmere blended with wool, silk, or synthetics does not have the superior soft feel of 100% cashmere and the price should reflect this.
Our entire collection is made in Nepal by women artisans who combine traditional techniques and modern innovation to manufacture responsibly and create unique textures.
We recommend a cold hand wash in a clean basin. Use a gentle, detergent-free wash. Never use wool softeners. Gently massage the wash into your cashmere and rinse until the water runs clear. Lay flat on a clean towel to dry away from heat and direct sunlight.

We are delighted to box your order in our luxury white box tied with a beautiful ribbon and care card. Should your order be a gift, we would be happy to write a personalised message on your behalf on a card. Please write your message at checkout.
GIFT CARDS
Yes, you can purchase a Kasmiri gift card online. You may purchase a Digital Gift Card or a Physical Gift Card. A Digital Gift Card will be emailed to the recipient's email on the same day and a Physical Gift Card will be mailed to the designated address within 24 hours. The Physical Gift Card will be presented with a ribbon to enhance the gifting experience. The Gift Cards will have the recipient's name, gift card amount, date of expiry, unique code, and your message.
The Gift Card is valid for 24 months from the date of purchase and may only be used online at Kasmiri. If your order value exceeds the amount on the gift card, the balance must be paid by credit card. If your order value is below the amount on the gift card, the balance may be redeemed at your next purchase.
Gift cards are not refundable. A product purchased using a gift card cannot be returned for a refund and can only be returned for a gift card re-issue.
Kasmiri is not responsible for gift cards that are lost, stolen, or damaged. Kasmiri has the right to cancel a gift card if necessary.
