Our Story
Kasmiri was founded in 2021 after years spent working as an International aid consultant in Nepal, where I developed a deep respect for women artisans and the heritage techniques they safeguard. Their skill, humility and ancestral knowledge inspired me to create a brand that honours tradition.
I first bought a Tibetan Red cashmere shawl from Nepal decades ago, not knowing that this cashmere shawl would be the start of a love affair with cashmere.
Crafted slowly in small quantities, our signature lies in our distinctive textures; subtle ripples, refined loft and tactile details. These are considered investment pieces that bring quiet sophistication to your outfit season after season.

Cashmere Fibre and Quality
Kasmiri represents the pinnacle of luxury cashmere. We source the finest A-grade cashmere from Mongolia, Tibet, and Mustang, Nepal.
We work with established mills such as Consinee Group, one of the world's leading vertically integrated cashmere producers. They control the process from raw fibres through to finished yarn, allowing for consistency in quality control.
Consinee is aligned with recognised industry standards, including OEKO-TEX for exceptional quality, ensuring that the yarn and final product are safe and free from harmful chemicals; The Good Cashmere Standard, which ensures goats are treated humanely, the herders are supported, and the environment is protected, for the Sustainable Fibre Alliance to ensure responsible practices across the cashmere supply chain.
Our organic, undyed cashmere comes from the Chyangra mountain goats in Mustang, Nepal. It is certified by the Nepal Pashmina Industries Association and carries the coveted Chyangra Pashmina label, signifying the highest quality and standards of care for the goats, people, and the environment.
